So I didn’t start saving from the beginning because I originally was only capping this for someone who left, BUT I am going to probably be capping more of the chats because they get REALLY detailed and epic and people like to read them I guess.
WARNING : We make A LOT of spelling mistakes XD Its a chat.
THIS IS EQUALIST!MAKORRA (Mako is an ex-equalist. Korra is still KIND OF an equalist, but not really, she has her bending and its really weird and just, its best not to think too much into it. XD Their characters are not like the canon Mako and Korra.)
Catch up on what happened before this : Mako and Korra were supposed to be in therapy, but they were not cooperating with the therapist, but they WERE getting along. Even when Mako was tested by the hardship of having CAKE in the room, he chose to ignore it and prioritize just being with Korra :D ( They had a huge fight the night before, so they made up and were really strong in their relationship)
THEN EVERYTHING CHANGED WHEN THE ZUTARA ATTACKED.
Zuko and Katara got together and Katara agreed to marry Zuko, but this hurt Aang, and Korra could feel it.
Then Aang was in a mode where not even Kyoshi could stop him and he forced Korra out of her own body. She tried to get in, but he locked her out.
He confronted Katara (In Korras body) and argued until finally asked her about when her and Zuko pass. And he asked the question that had been paining him;
On Passed Avatar Date Night in Spirit World: Would she be his date, when she an Zuko finally join the Spirit world.
And she answered : No. She would be with Zuko.
So heart broken, he returned Korra her body.
But she came back different. She was detached. She claimed so was a only the Avatar and only a catalyst to help the world. The traumatic experience of being forced form her own body, made her think she wasn’t anything but the Avatar. Not Korra. “Korra’ Was gone and her eyes were empty, no light behind them anymore.
None of her friends could bring her out of it. Not even Mako… not even his kiss. He kissed her and she just stood there, stiff and emotionless under his lips.
So Mako broke inside. Korra was just a vegetable.
Aangs spirit came back, but just as a spirit without a physical form, and couldn’t fix her either.
Korra went to go “Provide the animate entity that carries the Avatar spirit” it’s proper sleep for the night.
Her friends and Aang were discussing on how to possibly bring her back when LE WILD FLOOZY APPEARS
Her and Mako are bickering at eachother.
Korra wakes up and simply goes to get breakfast, staring at the wall, eyes still empty as ever.
A pretty much “Smarter than you think slut with daddy issues” ( an_attractive_floozy ) basically read Mako and hit a soft point and she was like wanna fuck? And hes just like “Im a self disstructive fuck up so yeah” And he kisses the floozy, Korra is uncreative ( Equalist Korra usually punches people who even put a hand on his shoulder) and then from all the gasps in the room, he pulls away, slams the wall and asks ‘What am I doing?” and then the floozy got the message and left.
Misty (One of their good friends) slapped Mako. (He deserved it)
THEN “that_one_douche_firebender” showed up. He admitted to being the one that killed Mako and Bolin’s parents.
Mako confronts him and things go down, Korra is still staring at the wall. unresponsive to the fight that is going on.
Bolin intervenes, things go down and the douchebag is about to kill Bolin with lighting and Mako jumps in front of him and he is striked down.
Misty (A healer) can’t heal him and he is gone.
Korra, still unmoving and seemingly staring at the wall emotionless, earthbends the ground to swallow the douchbage.
Aang goes to her and said “You did that didn’t you” with like a soft hopeful smile.
She blankly says ‘Im the Avatar”
and repeats it.. over. and over. and over again. Slowly seeming to break through just barley every time.
Then Bo is about to take a knife and kill himself and Misty is about in jump in front of it and then Korra goes into the Avatar state.
She metal bends the knife away, and then controls the Avatar state into going to to the spirit world.
Korra goes into the Spirit world and goes to the realm of the deceased and and faces the Spirit of the Passed.
She pleads with him to bring him him back and he asks her what makes her so special. Why should he just let her have someone back?
And she says she doesn’t know.
And he is surprised she didn’t say The it was because she was the Avatar

Summary: I was inspired by this post to play around with some Equalist!Makorra! So exequalistmako and equalistkorra were my unwilling muses for this one~!

She didn’t know how she ended up sitting next to him.
She was supposed to be angry- horrifically so. She was supposed to want to bash his head in or yell at him or at least beat him into submission.
But she wasn’t.
Dropping to the floor next to him was unplanned. Yet, there was still that little part of her that trusted Mako wouldn’t hurt her. That little part that still held hope for the boy she loved.
She didn’t speak to him- doing so was unnecessary. Their last meeting had revealed everything, anyway. He was leaving the Equalists, fleeing Republic City- oh, and breaking up with her. That, too.

“…what agenda?”
“…equalists who?”
He was right. He did make her weaker than her usual signature ‘powerfully strong and secure’ self. But she never minded, really. That weakness, surprisingly never bothered her. She thought that you were allowed to feel like that once in a while. For that one person. But why in spirits name did it have to be this person. The one who constantly broke her heart, yet she kept coming back because he was the only one who could put it back together again. Ironically the love he had just insulted, just broke her. Just like he said. She didn’t want to continue to prove him right and collapse right there like her knees begged to. Maybe she was pathetic. Yes. She was. Pathetic for not minding. Pathetic for being exactly what he said. Weak. But thats what love did. Even worse when she never thought she had to question its return. She had always just assumed that he knew she loved him, and that he loved her back. Their history and hardships would prove that.
But apperantly she was wrong. Pathetically wrong.
“Fine then.” She showed him the hardness he wanted. He thought being weak was pathetic? Then she would show no weakness. “Then I guess there is no point in.. us then?” She cursed herself for the crack in her voice when she said ‘us’

“Why do I put up with this…?” he mutters under his breath.
Korra stuck out her bottom lip in a pout. “Just cause I talk too much you question ‘why you put up with me?’” She crossed her arms over chest. “Wow thanks. Nice to know I mean so much to you.” She said it angrily, but her eyes were looking at her feet, a little bit hurt.
He sighed and wrapped his arms around her waist, gently pulling her towards him. She resisted a little at first, but eventually relaxed in his arms.
“You know I didn’t mean it like that,” he whispered into her ear, “… you can just sometimes be … a bit of a handful.”
“But,” he amended, cutting off what was probably a biting retort, “it keeps life interesting, to say the least.”
He kissed the top of her head.
“… Ugh. What is it about you that turns me into such a … sap?” he murmured into her hair, grimacing.
Korra finally gave in and wrapped her arms around his waist in a hug. She knew they both said things sometimes that they didn’t mean. Then he kissed her head and she let herself sink into him. She loved that she could turn him into mush and he could do the same to her.
She tilted her head back and rested her chin on his chest. her neck at almost at 90 degrees so she could look up at him. She finally relaxed her face and smiled.
“Because you loooovve me” She said playfully. ” and everything about me. Especially how open I am” Korra teased sarcastically.
It’s getting to a point were he gets angry then we just have sex again
and then I don’t get pregnant so ….

“Korra…” he groans, pinching the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger, “we talked about this. You need to stop being so… open about certain things.”
“Mako, If my legs are open, then so is everything else”
